Important details

• Checking accounts only. Savings accounts are not supported and will be rejected.

eDebit Bank Transfer (via Plaid)

eDebit is an alternative bank-based payment method. You authorize a secure electronic check from your bank account through Plaid. No card needed.

How it works

1. Select eDebit Bank Transfer (via Plaid) at checkout.
2. Click “Place order” — you will be redirected to a secure Plaid portal.
3. Connect your bank account and authorize the payment.
4. Your order enters a three (3) business day hold period while the electronic check clears.
5. Once the payment is confirmed as cleared, your order moves into fulfillment.

Important: Hold period & fund availability

• All eDebit payments are subject to a three (3) business day hold to verify that the electronic check clears against your account. Order fulfillment does not begin until the hold period has elapsed and payment is confirmed.
• If the payment is returned, declined, or reversed by your bank during this period, the order will be automatically cancelled.
• It is your responsibility to ensure sufficient funds are available in your account at the time of payment and throughout the hold period.
• Payments initiated on weekends or bank holidays will not begin clearing until the next business day. Plan accordingly if timing is important.

Credit / Debit Card (via WAAVE)

WAAVE provides compliant card processing for categories that traditional processors restrict. You pay with your normal card — WAAVE handles the authorization and fraud screening.

How it works

1. Select Credit / Debit Card at checkout.
2. Click “Place order” — you will be redirected to WAAVE’s secure payment portal.
3. Enter your card details. 3-D Secure verification may be required.
4. Once payment is confirmed, your order moves directly into processing.

Important: First-time transactions

• Your first payment may be declined by your bank or card issuer. This is common in this merchant category and is not an error on our end.
• If your payment is declined, contact your bank or card issuer directly and ask them to authorize the transaction. Then return to checkout and try again.
• Sigma Peptides cannot intervene with your bank on your behalf. We do not have visibility into why a bank declines a transaction.
• Once your first transaction is approved, subsequent orders with the same card are typically processed without issue.

Security & privacy

• No card or bank login details are stored by Sigma. All sensitive payment data is processed by our payment partners (Link Money, Plaid, WAAVE) on their secure, PCI-compliant infrastructure.
• We only receive confirmation of payment (success or failure) and the amount — not your full card number or bank credentials.
• Your Sigma account only stores what is needed to fulfill your order: contact information, shipping address, and order history.

Which payment method should I use?

We recommend Same-Day Bank Payment. It’s the fastest, most reliable option with no card declines, no hold periods, and a 3% automatic discount. If you prefer to pay by card, Credit/Debit Card via WAAVE is the next best option.

Why don’t you just take normal cards at checkout?

Most banks and card processors classify research materials as a restricted or “high risk” category. That leads to unstable processing, surprise shutdowns, and random declines — even when everything is clearly labeled for research use only. Same-Day Bank Payment bypasses card networks entirely, and WAAVE’s compliant card processing handles the rest.

Is this more expensive for me?

No. Our prices already account for payment processing costs. You pay the amount shown at checkout. Same-Day Bank Payment actually saves you 3% compared to card payments.

My card was declined. What do I do?

This is common on first-time transactions. Contact your bank or card issuer and ask them to authorize the charge. Then return to checkout and try again. If the issue persists, switch to Same-Day Bank Payment instead — it bypasses card networks entirely and saves you 3%.

What’s the difference between Same-Day Bank Payment and eDebit?

Both pay from your bank account, but they work differently. Same-Day Bank Payment authorizes instantly and ships the same day with no hold period. eDebit requires a three (3) business day hold before your order enters fulfillment. Same-Day Bank Payment also saves you 3%. We recommend Same-Day Bank Payment in most cases.

Which method is fastest?

Same-Day Bank Payment is the fastest — orders ship the same business day upon authorization. Credit/debit card via WAAVE is also fast with no hold period. eDebit requires the three business day hold before fulfillment begins.

How long does the eDebit hold take?

Three (3) business days from the date of payment. If you pay on a Friday evening, the hold period begins on the next business day (Monday) and your order enters fulfillment after the hold clears — typically by Thursday. Make sure your account has sufficient funds throughout this period.

What happens if my eDebit payment bounces?

If the electronic check is returned or reversed by your bank during the hold period, your order will be automatically cancelled. You will need to place a new order with confirmed funds available.

Can I pay from Puerto Rico?

Yes. Same-Day Bank Payment and Credit/Debit Card via WAAVE are both available for Puerto Rico orders. eDebit bank transfer is not available for Puerto Rico.

Can I use a savings account for Same-Day Bank Payment?

No. Same-Day Bank Payment requires a US checking account. Savings accounts will be rejected.

What if I still have trouble paying?

Contact support@test.sigmapeptides.com with a screenshot of the error (without showing your full card number). Include your order number if one was generated. We can usually identify the issue and direct you to the best alternative.
